Muslim immigrants abuse newly gained freedoms

Values in the western world - Christian and Atheist - allow free-speech, freedom of religion and more, and we welcome people from other countries to join us. We allow criticism of anyone who has a different belief including criticism of any god. But Muslim countries mostly do not treat non-Islam as equal or having any real rights and do not permit blasphemy - that is, criticism of the god of Islam. So far, that is just a description of behaviour that is wrong (a mistake) but fair (although punishments are excessive). You can make rules (laws) inside your own country, particularly if you have a democracy and people are free to leave. The problem arises when people do leave these countries with laws limiting freedom and come to Canada, Europe, the U.S. and Australia. When they come, we naively expect them to accept our values. They love the results of our values - the freedom from persecution and the improved living standards - but some (not all) immigrants then take advantage of our freedoms to try to make Canada and other countries like the failed countries they came from. They are abusing their newly gained freedoms.
Because we have freedom of speech, and because we allow them to bring their religious imams with them, they can campaign, demonstrate and whine about how they must have their inequitable practices here. They want to continue their subjugation of women (including burkas etc.); they want Sharia Law; they want suppression of free-speech relating to their religion. If these things are so important, then they should go back where they came from. They are not part of our values. They are not part of Canada or other western countries.
I wouldn't mind so much if they were able to do the same in their home countries. If Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and other Muslim countries allowed criticism of Islam by Christians, then one could say they are simply bringing the same values here. But this is not the case. They are coming to a new country and using the new country's freedoms to behave in a way they could never do in their home country. Our values include accepting and tolerating different beliefs and accepting and tolerating anyone who criticises others. Because we tolerate their behaviour, they are taking advantage of it even though they could not have done that in their home country.
I am not advocating that their behaviour (criticising) should be banned - they DO have a right to free speech. I just want to highlight the irony of the situation - they are behaving in a way that they could not have done in their home country. And if we bow to their demands, Canada (and the rest of the west) will become like the failed countries they have left. We must continue to underline our values - bravo to France for its small step in banning the burka and the oppression of women that it signifies.
