Once again Muslims have murdered for honour - forgetting of course that murdering someone is the worst dishonour possible. This time it's in Sydney Australia. Maybe where they come from (Malaysia), murder is preferable to having your wife have an affair with someone else. The trial started October 18th, 2011 for Nita Iskandar (46) and Andrew Iskandar (21) in the NSW Supreme Court. Nita is the woman who was having the affair with Malaysian consulate driver Mohd Shah Saemin (43) who was beaten and stabbed to death in February 2010. But Nita was already married and this would simply not look right in their Muslim community so her husband and son (Andrew) conspired to kill the adulterer. The husband taxi-driver Hazairin Iskandar (55) will have a separate later trial and is the man accused, with his son, of the murder. His wife is accused of being an accessory after the fact because she was not cooperative with police. In fact, within days of the attack, she lied to police to protect her son, telling detectives that he was at home asleep when the attack occurred. She also paid for a plane ticket so her son could flee to Malaysia to evade capture. He did go there but was extradited back to Sydney.
Why Malaysia? That was their home country and that's where the murdered man was buried even though he had become an Australian citizen. And that's how we know they were Muslims - the local papers reported: "He was buried at 10am, witnessed by about 500 people, including his father, Saemin Mongin, 70, and three siblings, Mohd Kamal, Rohayu and Mohd Saiful, after prayers at the Kampung Tambak Paya mosque." (Malay Mail)
And the plot thickens - Andrew was not your local friendly Muslim. After the murder, he phoned Victor Lau (a friend) and confessed his role in the murder and asked Lau to give him a false alibi. But Lau was probably not a Muslim and did not go along with this shit so he refused and instead called police. So, while in jail awaiting trial, Andrew attempted to have Lau murdered, offering another inmate, Assau Maiva, about $10,000 to "do a job on him" when he got out. Not too smart a move.
The trial continues in Sydney but it's an open and shut case. There are witnesses who saw the murder and thanks to Andrew's stupidity, Victor Lau can report the confession.
Apart from the fact that here is yet another Muslim honour murder, the son is clearly partly integrated into local culture. His name is an English "Andrew". Yet he still wanted to act out barbaric behaviour carried over from his origins. His culture was winning over new Australian attitudes. Can we hope that he is an exception and that newcomers really do adopt the values of their new country more quickly? There is one thing that in a backward way is a good sign. When the Malaysians first heard about the case and before anyone was arrested, the Malaysians were reported to be pressuring Police to describe it as "road rage" and not racist or hate based. (Sydney Morning Herald) They are at least embarrassed. And the extradition was processed quickly by Malaysia. But then they are one of the more progressive Muslim countries - not fully rejecting of Islamic barbarity yet, but more so.

2011-11-23 08:45:51 | Wahyu Sasterawan - Who is behind to make him tell lies
I heard in person when Hazairn Iskandar was telling his brother that how he has murdered Saemin together with his son Andrew Isknadar. He was also told his brother I heard that before Andrew Iskandar has been extradited to Australia from Singapore his solicitor (not be named) was travelling to Singapore to coach Andrew Iskandar to tell lies to the court which he did. It is shock but true that that particular solicitor by using the name of Hazairin Iskandar has commenced a false Supreme Court proceeding, where he did not identify himself and he also did not disclose the identity or whereabouts of the plaintiff named Hazairin Iskandar. Unidentified Hazairin Iskandar's solicitor falsely made out five affidavits with the intention to deceive and it did not end there, but on 1 September 2011 that immoral solicitor has bright a notice of motion to appoint a tutor to one of the defendant in the nature of fraud. Anybody can make any suggestions that where do we go from here, when a particular solicitor by using the name of Hazairin Iskandar, Andrew Iskandar and Nita Iskandar has been involved to be financially benefited? What punishment this solicitor can deserve?

Ms Nita Iskandar was the one who has created all these horrible catastrophes who has no self-respect who is a big lair, because of who that murder was happened. If she was not happy with her husband, there was a way open to her to divorce her husband without cheating on him for many months and years. She used to say that Mohd Saemin was like her brother, nothing else, eventually was her secret lover. If she will not be prosecuted many people in the community will likely to be victim of her. She is a lair and immoral.

There is no intent to slander an entire community but he was from Malaysia and not Singapore. Follow the link to the Malay Mail above to get details.

Thank you to be neutral. Between Hazairin Iskandar, Andrew Iskandar, Nita Iskandar and their solicitor Benjamin Archbold there have been a nasty history. This Benjamin Archbold send SMS text as: "Hello Wahyu, as you terminated our call, I have forwarded this text message. Neither you or Zulfikri have authority from either Hazairin, Nita or Andrew to act on their behalf. The Power of Attorney is a fraud and is invalid. I will be notifying the police tomorrow morning. I have forwarded all documents to Hazairin, Corrective Services and the Legal Services Commissioner. Do not contact me or either Iskandar again. Please tell Zulfikri to ring me. Regards Ben", Benjamin Archbold did not stop here but he has commenced a false Supreme Court to stop "Wahyu" which he has admitted by way of affidavit and by way of soliciting to unidentified Zulfikri stating that, "I have court proceedings to get your brother taxi back, you are a defendant", having discovering this hypocriteness when this Archbold was requested in writing to take the taxi back, no reply from this Benjamin Archbold who is definitely is not a Muslims. Where do we and the Muslims go from here?

The victim was from Malaysia, the accused from Indonesia. The ethnicity of the victim has nothing to do with why he was targeted.

Andrew should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, any man that hits another man with a hammer in a non sexual way should be locked up for life in my opinion.

I fully agree with you but what about his solicitor who by using the name of Hazairin Iskandar, Andrew Iskandar and Nita Iskandar has successfully been able to abuse the process of the court to create more business by putting heavy blindfold on the eyes of the Judges? Now that particular solicitor by using the court is targeting the Legal Aid NSW and the Guardian ad Litem to create more business, where the court has yet to identify the culprit solicitor of these accused persons. Where do we go from and how our communities be freed from these immoral solicitor?

2011-11-25 11:08:14 | anonymous - To protect the fearful community
Many members in the Indonesian community are in serious fear that if both Ms Nita Iskandar and Andrew Iskandar shall not be prosecuted and not be locked up, there be more murder incurred.

I completely agree. I was there. I'm just not sure why the ethnicity of either the accused or the victim makes any difference.

It seems it was an honour murder. Few atheists or Christians would go that far for an honour motive. It's the religion of the perpetrator that's being highlighted, not his race or home country. I agree that neither race nor ethnicity are the issue. But it seems that honour murders are relatively common amongst Muslims. Most Muslims are ashamed of that - but still their religion seems to encourage that thinking. Perhaps those that are ashamed can convince their imams to preach that honour does not ever justify killing.

I agree with this that it was to be an honour killer but I do not agree that the entire Muslims Community be blamed for their wrongdoings. The name Hazairin Iskandar, Andrew Iskandar and Nita Iskandar are the fortune of Benjamin Archbold against who a large number of formal complaints have been lodged with the Office of the Legal Services Commissioner, for which Mr Steve Mark has said that"(i) "Alternatively, in the event I am satisfied the practitioner will be found guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct but not of professional misconduct, I may deal with the matter summarily by, inter alia, the issue of a caution or a reprimand. No further action can be taken until such time as I have determined that three is a reasonable likelihood of a finding of unsatisfactory professional conduct or professional misconduct"; (ii) "In the event Mr Archbold does become a major witness in the Supreme Court proceedings the provisions of Rule 19 will apply"; (iii) "While such legal proceedings continue I will not examine your concerns. The court can make binding determinations about the conduct of Mr Archbold. Should they make adverse comments at any point about the conduct of Mr Archbold I would be happy to examine those comments. I do not intend to put any part of your complaints to Mr Archbold as they relate to existing legal proceedings". Regarding this, the Director General of the Department of Justice & Attorney General has expressed that, "The Registry of the Supreme Court has been provided with a copy of your complaint, and will be responding to you directly the matter raised" and now the court is about to ignore the above but to assist Benjamin Archbold who is not a Muslims, where do the Muslims go from here?

back to their home country Wahyu! Lying, cheating, stealing should not be tollerated anywhere in Australia by Muslims. (or any other religion)
As far as making comments about taxis, If the travelling public had prior knowledge that they were getting into a taxi where the driver is a thief, murderer and Muslim, do you think they will feel safe..... I think not. Some drivers make false statements, commit prugery in court and lie anyway possible to save themselves. Not the honorable thing to do to waste so much tax payers money on rubbish.

Andrew is saying in court he didn't know about the affair and wouldn't care if his mother had a hundred affairs. Have you read the latest news articles? Apparently he wasn't fleeing the country, he was going to meet family. He didn't have their address but thought he'd be able to find them easily. He says he tried booking a one way flight because he thought it would be cheaper. And he said he gave the airline a fake phone number because he sometimes forgets his number. Is this guy serious? He sat through court when I was there like he was bored out of his tiny mind. He may be even stupider than he looks. I hope the prosecution have ripped him to shreds. Obviously it wasn't the smartest murder in the world, in front of several witnesses. But his lies are just embarassing. I fully expect a guilty verdict and harsh sentencing since he is lying through his teeth about the entire ordeal, with obviously no trace of remorse. Will also be interesting to see what happens about the additional charge of soliciting murder. What a nasty person, what an evil, evil soul. And do stupid at that! He should've died when he was born.

2011-11-25 09:18:59 | anonymous - Their solicitor Benjamin Archbold is more dangerou
Per http:// www.smh.com.au/nsw/ alleged-murder-an- honour-killing- court-told-20111017- 1ltf6.html: "Within days of the attack, Ms Iskandar allegedly lied to police to protect her son, telling detectives that he was at home asleep when the attack occurred. She also allegedly paid for a plane ticket so her son could flee to Singapore to evade capture. Soon after the alleged murder, the 21-year-old allegedly rang a friend, Victor Lau, confessing his role in the alleged murder and asking Mr Lau to give him a false alibi. Mr Lau refused and instead called police. While in jail awaiting trial, the young man allegedly attempted to have Mr Lau murdered, offering another inmate, Assau Maiva, about $10,000 to "do a job on him" when he got out". Before hand to arrange monies for him his mother Ms Iskandar has signed a contract authority with her brother-in-law who is the attorney of her husband Hazairin Iskandar who travelled from Indonesia to Sydney, stating Nita Eriza Iskandar DOB 20 March 1963, Indo Passport No. K899600 has consented or authorise to Zulfikri Abu Yazid Mahbur DOB 12 June 1964, Indo Passport No. U507448 to sale the Tax-i-cab T3999 Licence No. 5320 and on Hazairin's behalf in condition to accept 50% of the sale price and other 50% for Zulfikri on her husband behalf. In that consent agreement Ms Iskandar has provided with a copy of her Indo-passport. Later the taxi was sold pursuant to non-restricted power of attorney and full payment has been received. Thereafter, the solicitor (as he admitted in his affidavit) named Benjamin Archbold under the instructions of Nita he has commenced a false Supreme Court proceedings but in the proceedings he did not identify Nita Iskandar, Hazairin Iskandar and even Zulfikri Mahbur the attorney and brother of Hazairin Iskandar. The whole family including are in mess and in particular their solicitor Benjamin Archbold even more dangerous than they are! Later by way of another affidavit this Archbold under oath has confirmed the court of a tele-conversation between Benjamin Archbold and Zulfikri stating that "I have commenced court proceedings to get your brother taxi back and you are party". When the taxi was offered to take it back, he is not taking it back but the false case is continued. Where do the purchaser and the community go from here, where the Supreme Court proceedings are extremely expensive to run?

(That last post was from me, forgot to put my name in. Clever.)
Thought you might be interested to know the jury has retired to consider their verdict. I received a text from one of the detectives this morning. Hazairin's trial will most likely be late next year.

The community, the State NSW and the nation at large do not know in Hazairin Iskandar, Andrew Iskandar and Nita Iskandar's murder trial how badly Benjamin Archbold of Archbold Legal Solutions is involved. To keep these big jobs to be financially benefited, for his personal reason, he has attacked me cowardly innocent citizen in the community by sms text stating that, "Neither you or Zulfikri have authority from either Hazairin, Nita or Andrew to act on their behalf..... I have forwarded all documents to Hazairin, Corrective Services and the Legal Services Commissioner" where, (i) the victim never knew them and (ii) the victim is neither a solicitor, nor a barrister and who has no capacity to act for these named persons in there criminal matters, even they were to authorised him to do so, but to on a doubt-base Benjamin Archbold ought to have thought that the victim was acting for them by overtaking your jobs and accordingly, by using the name of Hazairin Iskandar as being plaintiff and Zulfikri Mahbur as being the first defendant but under the instructions of the subject Nita you have commenced these false or malicious court proceedings and did not identify any of those subject named persons in the proceeding, and to which proceedings, the statement of claim filed on 31 May 2010, you have added victim's name as being the third defendant, where in the originating process, "the Summons" the NSW Transport was the third defendant, whereas, Benjamin Archbold was fully aware of, that on 18 May 2010 Hazairin Iskandar MIN 471437 has accepted the deal of the sale of his taxi by his attorney and brother Zulfikri Mahbur and accordingly, he has accepted "the balance of monies in the amount of $175,050" (and his brother took the sum of $224,950, see Hazairin Iskandar's tele-conversation on 25 May 2010 with his brother Zulfikri in Indonesia and the email sent by him to the solicitor) by signing an authority, which authority was drafted and organised by Benjamin Archbold via the Governor of Goulburn Correctional Centre as the record shows. Where do Benjamin Archbold go from here?
With the intention to deceive, Benjamin Archbold have lied to NSW Transport as well as the NSW Police by using and referring your personal bias of deception and to sort that mess out the Director General of NSW Transport with no choice had to seek assistance by the Commissioner of ICAC (although the Director had no jurisdiction to do so), and the ICAC has r...

I have no doubt these three Iskandar's has to pay for the crime they have done, unfortunately, while they are in custody some one tried take advantage of them by putting their house in the market, sale their taxi, slandering, by falsify documents and fake signature Now, I heard that Wahyu Sasterawan (the above), and his associate happened to be President of Indonesian Islamic Society also JP had been arrested by police...also Wahyu admitted him self and his wife to mental hospital while on bail...I hope what I heard was wrong, and don't know who to believe (However, we can always check through NSW Police about the truth))

Rumours among The Indonesian Communities said, Wahyu Saterwan had problems when he was in New Zealand and also bankrupt, now in Sydney he always act knowing about law & Legal...some times acting that he had been studied Law somewhere at University in Sydney...may be he also been said to all Indonesian community that he is qualified Lawyer. But in fact he is Taxi Driver & may be took advantage of centre link payment as well, to avoid sentence I heard he admitted himself and his wife to mental Hospital...I just wondering who looked after his child? He claimed that he paid about $200,000 1/2 of the taxi own by Iskandar's Family is part of the settlement and the other half paid cash to Iskandar brothers (read his statement above)...where he get the money from? (he is bankrupt remember), some one had to be behind him, most strong Indonesian community said some one called Rasyid Noer behind it. He is one of the Indonesian Leader of Islamic Society in Sydney and Justice of the Peace JP, Rasyid Noer is quite rich leave in suburb of Randwick...I wonder where he got the money from if him and his wife only government employee. some media should pursued this information, and put it on front page news....love is what make the world go around, but Wahyu Saterawan and Rasyid Noer pretended to be loves & Peace maker and in the contrary they are heart breaker (all the above information I gathered from rumours spread out among the Indonesian community...I hope what I wrote is wrong).....but, remember these two people are on bail

2012-06-27 16:05:41 | Corrector
So many incorrect facts being spelled out here so I would like to correct a few...
The two murderers are from Indonesia, not Malaysia. The victim is from Malaysia.
When Andrew fled the country, he was arrested in Singapore, not Malaysia. It was Singapore that extradited him quickly (though Malaysia has a history of extraditing criminals to Australia too).
And what a dumb shit he was, to flee to Singapore after committing murder?? Singapore has a long standing extradition treaty with Australia. He could have fled to dozens of other countries and gotten away scot free but was probably too dumb to figure this out... so he fled to Singapore and into the hands of its highly efficient justice system... Now he gets to spend 18-25 years in jail pondering over what a low life lacking in intelligence he is.
As for the "honor killings" the judge's comments have been spot on. Such backwards thinking and disgusting acts have no place in Australia.

Backwards thinking? you can say that.
However, this is got noting to do with what you believes, either atheist, Catholics, Christian, Moslem, Hindu, Buddhism, Shinto, maxims.
What would you do if someone subdued & fucked your wife and realising when divorced you have to divided your property with your wife, and your wife lover who poor would be instance multimillion..the only belonging he would bring to leave with your wife is penis.
Would you kill your wife lovers, or kill both of them, report it to police, crying, commit suicide...or cut your dick
Confused?...no such of thing is honour killing

I was there on the night this happened and was a witness in court for the crown prosecution. Andrew Iskandar is a liar and the most horrible type of person. Although I think the family is from Singapore, at least that's where he fled to, not Malaysia. I'm not completely sure, but you may want to double check your facts before slandering the entire Malaysian/Muslim community. Either way, I expect a guilty verdict and anything else would be a gross miscarriage of justice.
