In May, 2007, TVO's highly respected Steve Paikin interviewed Richard Dawkins on his book the God Delusion. Steve Paikin is known for his insightful, penetrating questions and this interview is no exception - he takes the opposing view very well although he never says if he is religious or not. The interview touches on topics such as who Jesus was, where atheists get their moral values and why atheists don't pursue political power. Theists would be pleased with Paikin's performance although Dawkins is in good form - especially half way through where he warms up. He spends some time talking about the science of Evolution and how some good scientists can simultaneously be evangelical Christians - he also answers a question about what he would do on his deathbed.
Along the way, he accuses Dawkins of being disrespectful to people with faith and does not let Dawkins off the hook. Despite its length (about 30 minutes), it's worth watching all the way through.
