In June 2007, George Stroumboulopoulos interviewed Christopher Hitchens on the CBC program called The Hour. As you'd expect, there was no disagreement on the idea of evolution so the discussion, although short, got into more meaty stuff. Hitchens was in good form and blasted Christians for the way they treat children and also said that Islam may yet destroy the world. That's because the mix of Islam and nuclear technology is potentially capable of literally destroying the world.
