Christians believe that when we are born, we are inherently sinful and need forgiveness.  Ask any Christian about baptism and original sin.  Further, everyone is burdened with requirements that they must worship god, must donate to his church, must accept the guilt of previous generations and must beg forgiveness for crimes you never committed.  And all this without ever actually seeing or hearing god.  If you succeed, you can then go to heaven where you can praise god for eternity.  If you fail, you will suffer agony for eternity.  The Thinking Atheist produced a video with these thoughts - show it to your Christian friends and ask them what they think.
